Purpose and Aim

To organize all minority fire fighters and secure just and reasonable settlements for their grievance and to compile information concerning the injustices that exist in the working conditions of the Atlanta Fire Department and to implement action to correct them.

To promote interracial progress within the fire department and to see that competent blacks are recruited and employed, and aid in motivating the black brothers and sisters to seek advancement in all phases of the fire department.

To promote harmonious relations between our black brothers and sisters their employers and aid the department in public relations and participate in community activities throughout the city.
